A Triumphant Story

The story of the miniature pigs is one of drama and intrigue. It all started when someone decided that we needed animals to perform medical research on. Sure there were monkeys and rabbits and other creatures that we had been using, but someone decided that what we needed to advance medical understanding was a very small pig. Who that person was, I’m not exactly sure, but since the decision teacup pigs were brought about and have since provided a trough full of medical results. Somewhere though, these pigs must’ve snuck out and worked there way into out hearts. Nowadays, you can’t go to a pet store and not find a teacup pig. Maybe it’s their size or their cute eyes or whatever, but it seems that everyone wants to own a teacup pig these days. It’s kind of like how everyone wanted to own a Jack Russell terrier back in the early nineties.
