Children come in and leave the daycare at random. Once in, the player feeds them, places them in the bed and gives them whatever needed to keep them satisfied or happy. Once this is done, the child will leave the daycare. If done successfully for a certain number of children, the player advances to the next level. Some online babysitting games may focus on the care of animals or pets rather than children. The player must feed and care for the animal until it matures, or reaches adulthood, and can survive alone. Some examples include Cute Hamster Daycare, My Cute Pets, Dino Babies, Cute Kitten Daycare and Baby Zoo Daycare.
